And so, for me, I get to have fun with that. And the fun thing about when Godzilla is causing problems is that, that means he's blowing a lot of shit up, and he's causing a lot of destruction and mayhem. And here's the thing, is like, Godzilla is the heel in this movie. And so, there's going to be a lot of really fun surprises. Kong has yet to be revealed, but Wingard also made clear that Godzilla is playing the heel to King Kong's face: "I don't want to spoil the movie, but I will say that you're going to see Godzilla do things that you've never seen him do before, and you're going to see them act different ways. So it didn't feel like the true legitimate Batman v Superman movie." There are still questions about whether the true villain of Godzilla vs.

And this is just my opinion, but my problem with that movie is just on a fundamental aesthetic level almost, that it felt like a different Batman. It's in the Zack Snyder universe, which is very different than the Nolan thing.

And so, when Batman v Superman comes around, that's the first time we see the re-casted Batman as Ben Affleck, and it's kind of in a different universe. And obviously, Dark Knight Rises was his last picture. And it's a similar thing, where you have Christian Bale as the definitive Batman in the Christopher Nolan trilogy, and that's who we knew him as. And then I was thinking about Batman v Superman. "And so, going into this, I was thinking about that.

Godzilla, even if the movie had kind of a winner. So it doesn't quite feel like this is the definitive King Kong vs. And just his look, he just looks way different than any version.

It's the first time we've seen a guy in a suit. Godzilla, he's so different than any other version we've seen. The Toho version of King Kong in King Kong vs. And and then obviously, later on in the '70s, you had the Rick Baker version, and that's sort of what we identified King Kong as, but it's still relatively similar to the original. "An issue I have with – and it's a similar issue I have with Batman v Superman, another versus movie – is, at that point, King Kong was very much a stop motion character.
